Question on Velious
 

Let's just assume for a minute that Velious is coming out and ignore those who swear it's never gonna happen! :p

My question is: Will we be able to still use old world character models for ourselves? I seem to remember it being an option when this first occurred back in the day but I believe that was due to some machines not being able to handle the upgrade in graphics. Obviously not an issue 14 years later. I really did not like the changes to the character models, I'm fine with other content such as terrain and buildings but I'd really like and hope that we can retain the classic look.

You are thinking Luclin models. Velious brought new armor models.

i have vel gfx turned on currently, so there is a definite way to turn them off for the future ^_^

Although I haven’t tried it myself I believe you can turn them off/on right now.

I noticed that at the login screen (prior to putting in your login information) if you click ‘options’ you should be able to change all of the models if you want.

I know of friends who are running around telling me that my earth elemental has legs (Luclin model).

Otherwise you need to edit the .ini file i believe.
