What happened to the old skeleton form?

Was there a reason for going with the newer models of skeletons?
Just curious since I had thought this was supposed to be classic EQ.

The models are client side so there's nothing to be done to fix it. It is as classic as can be done with enhancements being rolled in weekly. The devs have done an exceptional job in putting this together.

Just out of curiosity, what does Shards of Dalaya do different in order for them to have it? Different client, or something?

Also, a looong time back Secrets said she had old skeleton/wolf models working. Haven't heard anything on it since.
