Biggest waste of time on EQ
 

well what the hell, why not..

So what was the biggest waste of time, without any gain you have experienced in EQ?

recently on p1999, at level 15, I spent 7 hours trying to loot amstaff scroll (ghoulbane quest) from crazed goblins in Highkeep (asking every group if i could loot.) They apparently don't exist yet, when I figured this out, I decided to walk back to freeport, got lost in highpass, and died twice from friggon gnolls.

never got a port from Freeport to North Karanas, so I walked all the way back both times.. i gained absolutely nothing except laughter from my bro :[

Pretty sure everyone is going to say AFK camping.

well i wasn't afk
meaning i was actively playing. >.<
the groups there let me practice my archery and hand to hand while i waited.
im now a paladin with 60 to hand to hand.

I've sat in EC showing off how cool I look for 3-4 hours trying to find something to do. Totally not a waste of time though.

trying to spawn bilge for 3 days. 10 hours a day. Before he was implemented on the server.
