Question on custom Velious helms
 

I didn't get to experience much of Velious back in the day, but I do remember the awesome custom helms from that era. I was doing some research, and it seems the only way for a caster to receive a custom helm graphic is by turning in a Frostreaver's Velium Crown, Crown of the Kromzek Kings, or Cowl of Mortality since they are All/All. Am I missing anything else?

I believe you're correct. We didn't see the custom graphics on true caster helms til Gates of Discord, where you could hand in the Qvic quest helms for that 'custom' look.

You are correct sir. This quest doesn't get put in until 4 months after Velious release.

- Velious racial plate helm quests have been added that will allow you
to 'trade in' your existing helms for ones with textures. We have
decided to allow the players (or their characters) to chose whether
they wish to have the new helmet textures or to continue to use helmets
that show no graphics.

Obviously CoM is going to be highly sought after, so I guess dains crown is my best bet
