Do characters on inactive accounts get wiped?
 

Hello, I played for a about a month or so last year on Project99 and was thinking about returning to play some more recently. I just checked the server though and it seems my character is gone. Do inactive characters get deleted? If so, about how often do you have to log in to not get wiped? Is there any way to recover deleted characters?

im fairly sure they keep them forever.

i lost the info to my old login account and still cant use the names from my chars

Is it possible you have it on another account you forgot about?
One way to tell is logging into the EQemulator.com site and checking your LS accounts. If there's more than one...maybe it's there.

Otherwise I'd say it's either a hack or a glitch. If one of the guids/devs are generous (maybe PM Nilbog, he usually replies), they could check what IPs have logged into that account.

You're either logging into the wrong server, manually deleted your characters, or are just mistaken.

Your characters are kept, I've left for well over a year and came back to them still there.

I have two accounts full of characters I wanted to save names with. They are still there, and I created them launch day like 5 years ago.

Really made good use of those name reservations huh?

I claimed a bunch of names and was going to turn around and sell them later. Never got around to it, and now I just don't feel like it.
