the human species will be fine. once the Red Death hits and wipes out a bit over 3 or 4 billion people so we get to more managable size. I think about 200 million peeps should be fine.

Otherwise you get massive server population issues that makes the game no fun for anyone except those who have cornered the various high end items and/or are friends with the devs. The rest just clawing at each other over decaying skelatons? No thanks.
