Ghoulbane Proc
 

I haven't seen if the Ghoulbane proc actually works, but when it tries to proc on NPCs that aren't undead (like a treant) it says "You must select a target for this spell." I don't know if the actual proc is broken or if it's just a problem with spell procs that require a specific npc type.

The ghoulbane proc is called Dismiss Undead.

Ghoulbane works fine... it only works on undead... whats the problem?

It's just the proc message would say "you need to select a target" which I'm assuming is bugging out because the creature isn't undead. There is supposed to be a different message for that, but I don't remember what it is.

"This spell only works on the undead". So it's working properly, but just giving an improper error message I believe is what he's saying.

Have you had your ghoulbane long enough to recall when the incorrect error message began?
