Any updates on these denial of service attacks? Such as why does this keep happening or who is behind it? I could really go for some Everquest tonight!

Don't try yet. It's a crap shoot right now (I ate two deaths in succession due to server crapping out).

It happens because some nerd is mad about some pixels with a GM so he punishes people who aren't GMs. Person behind it is probably some douche who lost a lot to GMs.

They'll find him and stop it, it may take some time but people have ddos'd the server FAR worse than this and the gm's fix it.

I figured out who's to blame for the DDoS attacks!
