A request from the public!

We the public request that the IP address of the DDOSer be submitted to the us, the public. Thank you!

no personal information is allowed to be posted on the forums, RL names, addresses, phone numbers, I believe a person IP would fall under that category.

shame...

If we mess with the person behind that IP address, how are we any better than that person? I mean the sooner we all just ignore this guy and don't even pay him attention, he'll get bored and move on.

D - Distributed
D - Denial
o - of
S - Service

The distributed part means hundreds or thousands of IP Addys

If it was just one IP the DDoS attacks would stop immediately.

More than likely someone paid money to rent out a bot-net to bring us down. I doubt the hacker in question has access to tons of dummy senders.

That being said, I have no idea how much traffic it takes to bring down p1999. In any case, you can guarantee he is paying some money to do so.

The entity is known as The Empire

pharmakos 07-17-2013 09:09 PM

i'm sure they're using more than one IP address

otherwise the DDOS would have stopped by now

My guess..and this is purely a guess due to the timing...is systolic. GMs didnt give him his account back after his post about hacking and rmt...shortly after that ddos hits us. 2+2=5?

I think it's possible to spoof IPs. Even if you gave out an IP, it may not be the true one.

If the attacking IPs are coming from certain subnets, those could be blocked on a server/router's side.
