you can tell whn it is hitting.

Finish up current business, then go into safe mode. Cast invises, move to an alcove out of aggro range, etc.

Just stop until it ends.

The point is to disrupt is. So we just ignore it and take breaks until it stops.

Not a total solution, but certainly robs theperpetrators of the charm they are griefing tons ofpeople. Most camps have safe spots.

Just an idea.

... except that having to stop what you're doing for the duration of the ddos IS the point of the ddos. you'd be accomplishing nothing to dissuade said attacker.

We went through this before, kiddies. It required a massive overhaul of the server equipment. I guess this attack is an a larger scale. I say that if there is hardware solution... let's get an estimate and start the donations.

My theory is the ddoser just hates Clear and will stop once he quits playing here.
