Robe of the whistling Fists turn in
 

Tonight, Barthaur, Shody, and Cumulo attempted to do the rotlw mq for Cumulo. Barthaur (me) turned in the KC pipe, Shody turned in the Chardok pipe, and Cumulo turned in the robe. Shody got the robe, and none of us got what we wanted.

Please check if there was a bug or something, or we just screwed it up.

Was it a fresh turn-in guy? The last person may have turned in a robe and failed his quest and the second pipe by shody completed the MQ that was pending.

I thought that was a possibility. It was not a fresh turn in guy.

And your why the new announcement was made today!!! lol j/k but i hope you got that petition in before this morning.

I think Cumulo petitioned it. He was supposed to get the robe.

some advice for anyone trying this in the future, check if you accidentally finish the quest before you tell the next person to turn in. at the very least Cumulo shouldn't have turned in his robe knowing that Shody finished the quest accidentally. Also kill the quest mob if you have the time/ability.

Can we get some clarification from the MQers as to whether or not the RotWF was given to Shody before Cumulo handed in his robe? If not then something's wrong.

they said it clearly enough I think, first guy handed in pipe1, second guy handed in pipe2 and got the RotWF, third guy handed in RotLC and got nothing

That's what I assume they are saying, but there is ambiguity in the statement. Since they don't explicitly state when the RotWF was given to Shody in the original statement one could also interpret it as Barthaur hands in pipe 1 and Shody hands in pipe 2 but doesn't get the robe until Cumulo hands in his RotLC. This is what I am trying to clarify because I am hoping to MQ this soon, and if the turn-ins are being done properly but the second person doing a turn-in is getting the robe after the third item is turned in I think I'll wait until it's fixed. :)

Shody could unequivocally answer this by looking at his/her log to see if the second time Balatin says "May you have the correct items or lost forever will be all" is immediately proceeding the quest completion text of "Brother Balatin holds his arms out and a fine robe materializes before your eyes. You grab it just in time to see the skeleton fade from existence."

Edit: I'm not trying to be a dick here, I'm just trying to get absolute clarification to help all those future MQers!

i've done this mq over 15 times successfully, with a mix of 2 and 3 people. if BroB is up, kill him and repop him. If hes not up, well you have to spawn him. Once hes up charm him and do the turn ins one at a time. Have each person say when their turn in is done and instruct the next person to go. dont worry and gl
