General Question about IP exemptions

Hey fellas I am a new player to P99 and am really excited to get started playing with my brother. We live together and are unfortunatly unable to play because of the IP block to prevent dual boxing. I totally understand why they block the IPs but posted about an exemption 48 hours ago and am very anxious to play with my brother. Does anyone know roughly how long this process takes? I've just been logging on every chance I get in hopes that the exemption has been granted but I dont want to be a bother an post another thread. Any thoughts?

Thanks guys

I've been waiting for a few days. I hear on average it takes 2-4 weeks. Sorry.

Thanks for the fast reply zeonick, has anyone else had any personal experiances with the exemption process and how long it took for them?

Done in batches. Mine was approved after 3.5 weeks. It's worth it, just gotta be patient. A few strategies if you want to start now is:
1) take turns playing your own chars on different accts.
2) take turns grinding one char to a higher level to power level your brother after his exemption
3) one person plays and gathers lots of shoulder pads, belts, scalps, and ears for the various xp turn ins and gives them to the other player when they start.

Remember, they're very serious about two-box violations and they can/do result in bans. A few violations were from legit husband/wife duos, except when one person was afk/asleep/not playing, the other would log on for buffs or support. Ephi catches and punishes...so don't wind up in that situation.

Well I appreciate the feedback guys thanks alot. I'll be patient and hope that they get to me sooner than later we're really excited to play.

it depends, if your using it for boxing they usually give you the ip exemption within a week, if your actually playing with someone then it could be weeks upon months man

This ^

I live with the gf. I play lots of games.. She like to be included even not being a gamer.. I asked for a exemption, 2 months later I asked again.. Was told to be patient..
It's been.. I dunno 1.5 years?.. Ya not holding my breath.

If it's that big a deal for you, there's way around it .

Or just play Vanguard :)

Be happy. A year ago it could take 3 months or more to get it. It is on average a week or so now I think.

Personally I don't think it should be allowed period so that nobody has the opportunity to box and get away with it. This is coming from a guy who has a girl gamer that likes to play as well.

But it could take weeks for you to hear anything at all.

Well thanks again for all the feedback I have faith in the system I'm sure they'll get to me when they can. They all seem like a good bunch of people.
