How do I get this mask as a bard. The wiki says I just need to kill a guy in highpass loot his head and turn it in to the general. Is it that easy cuz I'm hearing all kinds of stuff like I need a book from plane of hate and a weapon and a few other things. Can some one clarify this quest for me

Doesn't sound like you're the sort who is going to be able to complete the quest. Just being honest.

You have to do almost the whole rogue epic up until the general fight (you need to be able to spawn him). Then you hand him Stanos' head, get mask, and general despawns.

You'll need to buy the pickpocket pieces or get someone to do it for you. Or just buy an incomplete MQ (i.e. general spawn).

Stanos takes a raid force btw. Fun fight!

1. Find Tani N`Mar in the Hall of the Ebon Mask (rogue's guild) in Neriak Third Gate. Pickpocket a Stained Parchment Bottom

2. Find Founy Jestands outside the bank in North Kaladim. Pickpocket a Stained Parchment Top.

3. Go to High Pass hold and fin Anson McBale and tell him you 'need to see Stanos'

4. Give Stanos both stained parchments you pickpocketed. Receive a note from Stanos.

5. Get 2 bottles of milk, and a 100PP and go to Lake Rathe and find Eldreth, give him the milk, 100PP and the note, receive a Scribbled Parchment

6. Go to PoHate and get the Book of Souls (ground spawn)

7. Go To Steamfont Mountains and find Yendar Starpyre. Give him the Scribbled Parchment from Eldreth and receive Tattered Parchment. Then give him the Tattered Parchment and the Book of Souls.

8. Renux spawns, kill her and loot the Translated Parchment.

9. Take the Translated Parchment back to Stanos (Talk to McBale to get Stanos to spawn) he will give you the Sealed Box. Make sure you have your box before you kill Stanos as you will take a faction hit)

10. Talk so McBale again to get Stanos to repop and kill him, loot his head (you may need to kill him more then once as he doesnt always have the head. (Kill him, check, if he hasnt got the head quickly zone into the Keep to lose aggro)

10. Go to Kithicor and go to the Dark Elf house, hand the box in to any of the named in the house to spawn General V`ghera. (might need to use escape to lose aggro, then go back and hide/sneak behind the General)

11. Hand General V`ghera the head of Stanos and he will give you the mask.

. im sure finding a rogue to pickpocket pieces for me does not seem to hard. steps 1-11 look easy to me

Well rogue epic is super easy.

#10 is not part of the rogue epic, but specifically for the guise.

still seems not that difficult. finding both of those classes to help and killing the lvl 60 guy n highpass cake. ill need what 3 grps of lvl 60s ????

He doesn't drop the head every time. So be ready to make a day of it since they will want head as well. ;)

Stanos is a bitch to kill now, especially after the dictate nerf. You'll need a full raid force with good pullers since Stanos summons the zone to him on aggro. He hits hard and regens fast.

V`Ghera can't be dictated, but there's no need. You can either have someone pull him out and sneak hand in as he's walking back, or you can do a sneak hand in right next to the house by doing it in 3rd person view at max distance. At any rate, getting the head in the first place will be your biggest hurdle.

Also, Stanos can only be spawned by a 50+ rogue.
