Roco here.

Well this sucks. My whole computer and laptop fried on Friday...

Power line where I live are all under the ground. Aparently there is a problem with the line. So now got to wait till they get there asses out here to fix that & my home owners insurance to send me a check proble going to be about 2 weeks or so, so I can rebuild my computer and get a new laptop ggggrrrrr this sucks !!!!

Fried my surge protector and everything. Tried hooking up a diffrent power supply to my desktop and the motherboard is fried.

Anyways see you all in proble 2 weeks or so /hulk angry !!!!

Well if you played your cards right you should be able to build a much nicer computer =)

depending on their deductible, may end up with a check for 43 dollars. :)

When I talked to the insurance claim person the other day on the phone. They told me to make a list of the parts that where in the computer and all that well I did and the prices are...

4384.56 for the desktop

About 1750.00 for the laptop.

I got a $250.00 deductible

If the power company was at fault it's often possible to get them to reimburse.

Had a pal pick up a beast 2k rig for 600$.

Some surge protectors come with a warranty that protects any equipment connected to them. In fact I recommend finding one when you get your new machines. You can find them at any place like Staples, and they're not too expensive, less than $100.

huehue...Staples. Can't speak for the US but they've got really overpriced for everything here.
