How the fuck do you lose a BotB duel with the best gear? Like how? How is that possible? You know pvp is coming. You have time to prepare your spells and think about what you're going to do. How do you fucking lose with better gear?

Statistics skewed slightly, for example in the SK botb, there were 3 nihilum SK's, with nihilum getting the 1st and 2nd place titles, but because 2 of the 3 fought each other in the 2nd round, it was impossible for all 3 to ever get a title. This happened in many of the BOTB's, for example the mage botb you had diplo and strydur against each other round 1 and firebowlt dreyo round 1 where nihilum members are knocking each other out. I looked @ all the BOTB's and this occurred time and time again where nihilum members faced each other in pre title rounds.

tl;dr: that statistic is completely pointless

SK Botb: 3 nihilum members, wawaka/raze first round forcing nihilum elimination, 1st/2nd titles

Cleric BOTB: dont even know no1 played their chars people DQ'ed all over the place, multiple nihilum v nihilum matches such as shirmp v kina, node v fallen, zarah v kina,etc.

Ranger BOTB: 2 Nihilum members, 1st/3rd

Mage BOTB: 5 nihilum members, firebowlt/dreyo 1st round, diplo/strydur first round, diplo/dreyo 2nd round, 2nd/3rd/4th

the only reason that happens more often is because you had more people signed up

you had 5 out of 8 people signed up in the mage botb, it's impossible for there not to be team-kills pre-title rounds, and the fact that all 3 non-nihilum mages were on the top side of the bracket meant that nihilum was guaranteed at least a 2nd place finish

in the same vein you look at things like agatha vs sickpuppy round 1, pudge vs bamzal round 1
