Water Dancing

only serves as a line of sight blocker, will not stop a cast that is already charging

Nizzarr 10-10-2013 12:35 AM

false.

Will give you "you are protected from this spell" message

Colgate 10-10-2013 02:36 AM

not what i was told, but if it's working as intended, disregard this

freez 10-10-2013 03:09 PM

is this correct? shouldn't casters spell just be interrupt instead of landing as if target was DA ?

Nizzarr 10-10-2013 03:20 PM

spells should land, its your duty to duck them

vouss 10-17-2013 05:47 PM

tested this and results were as following

if someone out of the water casts a spell on you while you are out of water, then you enter the water before the cast finishes, it lands as normal

if someone out of the water casts a spell on you while you are in water, you get the message "your spell is protected..."

So close to working.

Nizzarr 10-22-2013 01:55 PM

bump, still not working right but was a step in the right direction.

Fixed pending patch.

Today
Caster on land, target in water, no LOS = lands
Caster on land, target in water, LOS = protected

After next patch
Caster on land, target in water, no LOS = protected
Caster on land, target in water, LOS = protected

Alecta, can you confirm that this check occurs when the spell is supposed to land, not just at initial cast?
