Bard resources
Could anyone link to helpful bard resources? I would love to find a nice keybind script / guide. Advice on where to level and what gear to try and get while leveling up.
Thanks! |
I don't mean to sound trite, but have you checked the library section of the forums? There's a very large compendium of info on a range of subjects there.

Or used search. This thread is barely a day old.

Jeez Miles, no need to get snarky.
Anyway, here's bard key-bind guide I wrote: Step One: Bind songs to 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8. Alternatively, you could use 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9 or 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 0. |
Haven't checked out the library section, but will now. Thanks.
I find search functionality on vBulletin boards to be fairly poor, so I rarely use it. Thanks for the slightly older, but still new link. Some good info in there. When I talk about binds, I'm talking about binding a key to do a series of actions. Such as equip an item, play a song, equip another item, play a song and then go back to main weapons. I feel like bards used to do something like this at higher levels. |
Personally, I never automated anything on my bard. It just seemed like more work to create and update macros than to simply drag and drop for gear-swapping. When barding I create a hotbar with my primary and secondary slots on it, and a bag full of instruments, and that's about it.

If you have any bardish questions you can send me a PM or something. Played a bard in classic all the way to 85 endgame.
