Grasping Embrace - 49 Enc Spell
 

Apparently this spell isnt dispellable, this is clearly a bug, all enc dot lines are MR based and dispellable.

Perhaps not, but Gasping Embrace can be dispeled.

Joking aside, what happened to you was likely the same issue that occasionally affects probably all dispelable detrimental spells, also described here and here.

My guess is this has to do with the buff slot thing like I posted a few weeks ago. DoT shows in top slot but its actually last slot.

On the off chance you remember -

How many buffs did you have on?
Had you clicked any off? Pumiced any others?
Were you still taking damage after you tried to dispell?
Did you have a bard in the group?
Were any other buffs about to fade / just fading when you were hit with gasping embrace?

it's so embarassing, i died, to a shitty enchanter because i couldn't dispel this debuff. i refuse to provide logs or evidence of what buffs i had. bard song only, and see invis + grim aura + levitate + dark elf illusion.

it was so embarassing i now depart the thread. it's likely that Silikten is right. buff stacking failure is failure as fuck.

another fucked up stacking order is Druid skin + dot lines. fyi. druid skin has regen components, get bugged as fuck with Splurt/Bond of Death.

Can you even say what character you were on? We can assume you were fully buffed since you do know how to play well, give Alecta something.
