Is this a legitimate concern? Regarding teams99
 

I am gonna play alot of the teams99 server. I never played a pvp server on live and not much here on red.

But it seems fairly obviously, and well known that evil team has a better advantage, and better race/classes. Is it almost inevitable evil team will dominate the server? Be in control with the server? Im afraid theres going to be alot more people playing on red than blue.

Am i wrong? Completely wrong? Is this a legitimate concern for teams99?

It's hard to say. They may not use any of the team alignments we saw on live, so maybe the evil team won't even be the evil team.

But it's also possible that it could happen again. Human beings are very set in traditional ways of thinking. Once something has been established, it's really hard to shake the idea of anything else being possible. Religion is a great example (not that I'm anti/pro religion in this statement). Ideals handed down thousands of years ago and still can't seem to change with new information just because it's always been that way. So if they do have an evil/good/neutral setup I'm sure evil will be the popular choice regardless of balancing just because people are convinced it's the popular choice.

And its unevitable evill dominate the server?

If im a member of some guild that believes we're the best then id want to roll good side anyway. Its funner that way, playing the underdog team.

No I didn't mean to imply it's inevitable. The devs might not even have any options for a traditional evil team and might do something weird like split it alphabetically into thirds or elect three captains and they take turns picking races into their teams.

All I meant was that people DO believe that evil will dominate and you'll probably see a lot of them try to make sure that happens. I also prefer the underdog team, and I agree it's more fun.

Having sk/nec/ogre/troll/iks is hardly an overwhelming advantage. If you can't compete while having access to dru/pal/ranger, no advantage in the world would save you anyway.

But im afraid of an overwhelming people chosing evil. And top established guilds will do it too.

deny evil bards, paladins, druids

deny good monks, sks, necros

deny neutral shaman, sks, necros

lots of cool d00ds want to be evil

Susvain. I really like you, you have a free spirit. But you are not learning to be a cold blooded killer like the rest of us. You need to find your competitive edge and reach for it. I think you need to change your perspective towards this game and life to achieve the impact your looking for with your posts and actions.
