Woo! I loved the books based on this era in the Star Wars universe so I am really excited. Hope Disney doesn't fuck things up like those prequls.

No one wants a good Star Wars movie to come out more than me. But they'll fuck it up guaranteed. Hollywood only makes movies based on franchised because it will make them money regardless of how shitty it is. Oh ya, and isn't the director the same guy who did the most recently Star Trek movies? Ya, it's going to be complete shit.

While those are generally considered a success... I have to say we need a decent Star Trek TV series again (better than Enterprise). Also didn't like the "Young Kirk" movies.

The newer Star Trek movies were far from shit, very far from shit actually. They just take place in a fake universe and make terrible science fiction movies because J.J doesn't know the difference between sci-fi and fantasy.

Speaking of which, Star Wars is a fantasy movie in a Sci-Fi setting. J.J. is perfect for that.
