IRL You Get: 1 Piece of Armor, 1 Held Item, 1 Misc Item - What and why? (Velious)
 

Obviously ripping off the spells thread but it was so good. Let's do this. Velious expansion included for some nostalgia. Also assume all items are all/all. Like you could pick Paladin Valor Helm Clickie and Shaman Epic Quest SoW Boots.

I'm no Velious pro so my itemization is gonna be weak. Teach me!

edit: Charged items, say they refresh at such a rate that they'd go empty to full in 30 days (slow and steady not sudden empty to full)

I'd go with:

Armor - Circlet of Shadow
Held - Singing Short Sword
Misc - Pegasus Cloak

Why?

Armor - Wait, who did, was he even there? Weird. Escape the fame.
Held - Craft it into a guitar, become world famous virtuoso, get paid.
Misc - No need for bridges, explore nature from above, never take the elevator back down again, every window is an exit with CoS + Levi. Become mysterious celebrity.

Armor - Mask of Deception
Held - Lost Staff of the Scorned
Misc - Puppet Strings

Armor - monk epic, rapid click, pretend to be super saiyan. Win UFC with epic fists hidden under gloves.

Do we get unlimited charges? If not puppet strings maybe not the best plan, esp since it can get resisted.

If I get unlimited charges, I'd go CoS, Peggy cloak and DA idol.

In terms of getting rich in life, I think Donal's BP would be the easiest. Oh no, you're a mutlibillionaire but you're dying? Give me 20 seconds...

Armor: Fungi Tunic
Held: Rod of Insidious Glamour
Misc: Manastone

Why?
Armor: Duh, insane regen? I become nearly indestructible. Plus synergy with Manastone
Held: Make anyone I meet like me more just by waving my shiny wand? Hell yeah
Misc: If Mana == Brain power, then I just found unlimited brain juice. Curing all the worlds problems here I come.

Armour: Circlet of Shadow -- Invisibility. Is nice.
Misc: Shai'din Revenant Bauble -- Levitate. Is nice.
Held: Book of Obulus -- I'm sure being invisible and levitating will get me hurt. Healing. Is nice.

Armor: GM Gauntlets (100% Res, goes through res timers. GG)
Held: GM Book (Effect: Guide bolt)
Misc: GM Ring (Effect: Invulnerability)

Originally I had the GM scabbard, which does effect: guide alliance, then I realized I'd never need to ally with anyone if I could just click on invulnerability and book them for disagreeing with me, followed by res'ing them afterwards.

You only get slayed once by someone who can also res you and put you in a death loop before you never disagree with them again.


Am I cheating? Items are classic.

Does the book require line of sight?

If so, seems a group could still imprison you in a cell without windows (or having a drone drop a big crate on you) :D
