Hi all project 1999
 

Hi guys

I quit eq a few years ago went back to live but il be honest i wasnt loving it so checked out some emeu servers. Played thf great server bit easy mode so logged in to project 1999 and instantly liked!

My main on live was a ranger and played bard. Now il be honest my memory of game is abit hazy but off memory rangers were sub par before luclin ? I do remember bards being quite to solo monsters however i did play bard around pop off memory.

Good friend of mine has given me some pp and some items iksar cp. haste belt off memory which is awsome im wondering bard or ranger. Just wondered if one is more "prefered in groups/soloin" when required?

My main reason for post is to say hi and thanks to some peeps on ec tunnel who gave me some advice and buffs!

Rangers will never be good on this server.

Rangers get weaponshield and trueshot disciples at velious. They will be "ok"

If a ranger is what you enjoy, then go for it! I know a couple of good ranger pullers, and they'll be more appealing to the "min/max" crowd when the hybrid penalty disappears in Velious.

I quit Live when they shut down a new blue server voted on by players (Trakanon) which had a great community and merged us with Tunare. "Swish" or "Swishxxxxxx" ? I quit! Then came here and haven't looked back :)

THF is only easy mode at the beginning, it ramps in difficulty really quickly to essentially force you to donate in order to progress.

Ranger is what got me hooked altho might try bard not sure il play both see what sticks.

Lots of negativity towards bards! Just remember someone needs to die first lol! Got some items to twink see how it goes!

Il assume 2 hander is better than dw at low lvls?
