I was playing around with the Magelo function and holy crap BIS Velious gear is silly compared to our timeline.

I probably wasn't even that smart at picking the best choices as Str and Sta were capped.

Good luck getting any Velious camps for the first month, all the EC fat cats will be 24/7 camping to try and restock :p

Im not a pro bard but 160charisma seems to be pretty low. Even with buffs you wont cap it.

That gear IS batshit crazy though. 1400 ac unbuffed. Lol.

Yeah I was sort of just going with gear that gave most hp, had highest AC and total number of resists, or seemed like it gave highest amount of stats all around the board. It's actually sort of hard to pick BIS velious gear because some gear has super high AC but low stats/resists or the opposite...insane resists or stats but low AC.

This looks like it involves several Dozekar and a few Vulak and AoW pieces... That is all extremely hard to get. While the stats are ridiculous, I do think Vulak and AoW will take awhile to get downed.

Why would vulak take a while to get downed?

Hoshkar is a harder dragon to kill. Vulak just cant be zerged like hosh can.

Vyemm is the badarse, as is Yelinak 1.0.

You need to kill Vyemm to get to Vulak, and Vyemm is pretty tough.

The interesting thing about Velious is that while you can get really ridiculous stats for having all BIS, having all BIS is a nearly impossible task. Like, getting an Azure robe is a relatively easy task in Kunark, but in Velious you essentially need to get an Azure robe in every slot. That's gonna take a lot of Vulaks and a lot of DKP to pull off.

It's really easy to max out until Velious. The expansion really draws the line between casual players and the very top end raiders.
