Anyone here play it yet? if so let me know we should get together and raid some houses on my server!

What are your impressions of the game? I need some details before I rob time from FFXIV to play Rust.

Picture...an open map. Little resources and zombies. Then throw in the fact anyone can kill anyone. You gotta make friends and survive, you start with just a rock then you go to finding food so you don't starve then building up a base to stop from being raided. It's like Counterstrike and mine craft (make guns ammo arrows structures bomb) with the main point being to deprive others so you stay on top by raiding/murdering. I think it's a blast and with a friend or two it's real fun you can play the good guys or go bandit and pillage as much as possible.

Another game incorporating Minecraft? Shoot me :p

well not like the minecraft you know, just with the harvesting of stone/ore/wood resource that spawns sparingly thru out the land and why yes I would shoot ya if I saw you trying to take a stone cause I want it!

whats the diff between this and DayZ?

You can build shit. It's minecraft + day z. Surprisingly fun combination.

Rust...

Sandbox...Wood , Stone , Food...

Kill animals (Or find food on zombies) to eat..
Gather wood to build your house
Gather stone for the weapons and stuff

Get kill , raided...Its frustrating..but its so fun lol

The item list is limited but it has potential

I don't even like having to work my tailoring up/farming ruined pelts to make patchwork armor on a level 2 druid.
