A little more info on the Surname please?
 

I was wondering about the Surname you can give your character at level 20, is it able to be removed?

/sur <name>
if you want a ' in your surname petition for it
if you get sick of your surname petition for removal/change

Kind of like you're able to be anything you want when you grow up.

It used to be changeable every week but now I think it's permanent unless you petition for a change (and I have no idea what their guidelines are for changing it).

Petition you want it removed. I just did it on two of mine last night. Usually gets done pretty quick. Both times 5 minutes after petition.

You should be able to do /surname and leave it blank to remove your surname. They're supposed to be once a week?

on live, if you wanted to remove it the GM would change it to a _ which wouldn't show up as anything but it would also prevent you from adding a new name.

So if I ask GM to remove my surname, will I be able to later add a new one? I would like to get rid of my surname, but I am not really sure about new one, just wanna keep the first name for some time before I decide.
