AFK at a camp for BIOMUNGUS
 

I was camping Kindle for a few hours in Sol A and had to go really bad, so I killed the PH, set a timer, and took a few minutes to myself. When I got back I think someone was claiming they should get camp cause I was AFK. Here I'll quote cause I don't know how to post screen shot

Him - "So why didn't you call it in the last 2 CC's? And in the previous one you called it 5 minutes after someone else called it? =p"

Me - "afk bud, I have a special 18 minute timer"

Him - "You know you can't AFK camp right? They're supposed to kick you to char select if you do that =o"

Couldn't find camp rules, just wondering if that really is true, the kick to char select whilst shitting?

In the past:

I believe the "AFK camping" that is against the rules is like, having a pet getting aggrod by mobs that it then kills for faction or xp while you are truly 100% afk the entire time.

"AFK camping" where you aren't at your keyboard for some/all of the time between spawns is generally frowned upon I think, but it isn't against the rules. He isn't allowed to take over unless you're sitting there afk while the mobs are spawned.


Who knows what happens anymore though. PNP says he can demand a share of the camp and you guys are supposed to figure out a compromise yourselves or else he will petition staff and they'll decide something for you.

You have no obligation to answer CC's. Perfectly reasonable to go afk and be back before your spawn.

Nonsense. First 15 in zone, do an afk check. They don't answer afk check the mob is yours.

What kind of fucking nub goes afk to shit?

if you kill your mob, afk at the camp to shit or whatever, and are back before your mob repops, thats not afk camping.

Calling CCs is a courtesy, its not required to hold a camp.

so no you shouldnt have lost the camp
