PvP Classic question
I could be completely wrong but I thought Crystallized Pumice stones were only from mob drops and potions were only player made.
Why was it decided to put these in game on a vendor? It takes money away from shamans. It changes the balance of spells and classes. It makes spells meaningless and magical effects trivial. Crimson pot a mez. Cure a tash. Dispell 3 dots and root in one cast. These are fight changing abilities that are just clicked away at the expense of a few platinum. Playing a warrior with pots and dispells is a completely different experience then playing one without any. Also classes like shaman and necro are gimped from what they are supposed to be. |
They were always on vendors.

They weren't instant cast here like classic during that time period, and also MR didn't work for shit so your unbuffed 100 MR meant you got rooted 50%.

what not classic is dispels. each dispel should have counters and each buff/spell/dot etc should have counters. ex: you should never be able to dispell 2 high level dots with a single pumace charge. It would strip 1 if u were lucky
also back in classic 18p for pumice was expensive and not everyone knew about those vendors or even what all those potions were capable of |
i knew about pumice but never heard of crim pot (or knew what it did) until p99. guess i was too casual.
