Racial Meats from Guards?
 

OK -- I don't kill guards for a few reasons:

1. I suck at this game and would die
2. Faction hits
3. That's just plain wrong, folks!

...BUT I have an undying craving for meats of all kinds, and know a lot of you DO kill guards, so I have a question: Do guards/citizens of various towns drop racial meats? Can anyone confirm this from recent experience?

Human guards don't drop meat as far as I remember, but dwarf guards in BB do drop meat as I recall. I use to solo them around lvl 54ish in BB back in the day... xD

Perhaps I can check for you sometime late tonight when I'm bored, and we could even
possibly work out some type of...meat for hire contract...

Also I'm pretty sure most guards do other than human, but I'm not even 75% sure that
statement is correct, that's just how I recall it being.

Haven't seen any meat drop from the guards inside Kaladim, neriak, Freeport or qeynos.

I'm not sure I've even seen dwarf meat drop from the guards in butcher block.

I haven't seen guards drop meat ever on p99

I've seen dwarf meat, but can't recall any other kind.

I'll go check later tonight.

I don't think DE guards drop meat.

But of course, there are other ways to obtain these meats. Generally, whenever you see a mob of a particular PC race, they can drop meat of that race (ie, elf bandits will drop elf meat, etc.). And mobs known to gobble people up might drop some.

What I find a bummer is that Frogloks in Kunark don't drop Froglok Meat. I've always got a hankerin' for froglegs.

I already have all my favorite racial-meat hunting spots for non-guard, non-citizen mobs so it's not like I have no way of getting them... I'm just wondering if there might be untapped city meatsources that I have been overlooking!

I looted a Froglok meat from Frogloks in Firiona Vie this last week.

Okay. Just not the ones around Cab then.
