got robbed

I paid a Halfling druid to xfer a bag from my chanter to my warrior and he has been linkdead now for quite sometime am I shit out of luck for thinking that this wouldn't happen on emulator server? please keep the mocking to a minimum I am just in awe that this happened

Erasong 02-17-2014 10:18 AM

shitty people are everywhere. i guess you can still hope he comes back and just had a house fire?

SamwiseRed 02-17-2014 10:19 AM

you really shouldnt ask a total stranger to transfer stuff. why not use a guildie or an established ec tunnel neckbeard?

ive drop traded everything personally. never had an issue.

Spatzle 02-17-2014 10:20 AM

I honestly have never had an issue before plus I tipped him handsomely just blows my mind.

SamwiseRed 02-17-2014 10:20 AM

ya sucks but maybe hell come back. if not name and shame :)

Daldaen 02-17-2014 10:20 AM

Only use guilded level 60s in EC is what I do. Or more often than not I drop stuff on the ground.

The Halflings name could be useful though.

Ya u can say lesson learned was at the cost of a lammy , scorpikis claw impaler, blood stained mantle and 2 sow pots not the end of the world but still hurts when your just starting out on server.

Asap 02-17-2014 10:41 AM

Name?

Spatzle 02-17-2014 10:44 AM

Wylfred Halfling druid its been over 2 hours now I don't think he is coming back and I need to get ready for work. like I said I learnt my lesson sucks but that's what I get for being naturally trusting of everyone. Everyone have a good day I get to play restaurant see you all in about 12 hours!

You can file a petition and logs can be pulled I believe. Not sure on the turnaround for something like this but GMs are usually good about it.
