Velious: Meele are unable to be bound in Thurgadin.
 

We were unsuccessful in binding meele in Thurgadin. We attemped to bind on the bridge, just inside the gates, and inside the bank, but the meele kept getting messages that they were unable to be bound.

Probably Velious-wide issue. Could not get binded in Kael Drakkel city, either.

What about thurgadinb (icewell keep) ? Should casters and melee both be able to bind there?

Kael, we will likely preemptively restrict binds to entrance areas for simplicity sake, as was done in Velious era. As well as melee binding at Iceclad dock.

Pending update:

thurgadina, thurgadinb, skyshrine - can bind anywhere in there
kael - can only bind near entrances
iceclad - pure casters anywhere, melee can be bound at dock

Iceclad dock binding for melee was not introduced until the Nov 7, 2011 patch:

We are preemptively adding the dock bind, and changing Kael to entrances only. Since there's currently no way to dynamically change these when the time comes, we are doing it for simplicity.
