Othmir and Cobalt Drake Interaction
 

Initially in Velious it appears that the Othmir camps in Cobalt Scar would get hit by the Cobalt Drake's AE spell (Frosty Death) and they would act as guards and kill the drake. This looks like it was removed sometime in a patch between April and May 2001.

"They used to act as guards when fighting the cobalt drakes, but they no longer do so. "

Apr 18 2001: "When the drake AEs again, all the Othmirs of that camp will agro on it. They will kill it, tho it will take a few moments...so as soon as its AE goes off...begin running away from the othmir camp, to escape the lastAE it might get off. "

This happened with EVERY npc aoe spell until this point.

I used to have rock dervs come KS me in lavastorm if they were close to a drake I was futzin with.
