Unable to log in with a new character, tutorial zone unavailable
 

Hello,

I just installed a fresh Titanium and went through the guides. I can log in find and create a new toon (halfling), but regardless of what I try it always wants to log in to a zone "tutorial" and says that zone is unavailable. I can't figure out how to choose another zone, like rivervale, even clicking the tutorial button off doesn't help...has anyone seen this? I didn't find much on the forums.

Creating a Dark Elf worked, it said logging into gloomingdeep, though the char select screen afterwards said i was in nek.

Some classes aren't available for certain races in P99, although the character creation screen will allow you to choose these options because of the client you're using. When you make an impossible character, the server won't allow you to log in.

Okay, that could be it, I was trying to make a Halfling Paladin. I haven't played in years and I don't remember if this was an original combination or not... Thanks.

It was not. In classic, Halfings can be (iirc): Warriors, Clerics, Rogues, Druids
