BP Heals Equal No Faction Hit
 

I noticed that if I heal somebody with a Donals BP during battle, that there is no faction hit after the mob has died. The heal may not be registering me on the hate list? I tested this with multiple heals on different giants in the Arena the other night.

In several higher-level zones of Velious, you will find that healing alone is not sufficient for getting a faction hit.

Just to clarify. The hate is being generated. But heals alone will not cause faction hits in certain velious zones.

It is known clerics would have to tag a mob in some manner to get faction when in the CH chain.

It was fun to watch the CH clerics run to the mob at the last second to melee the boss, but too early for the tank to survive.

You guys are right! Now I remember I always kept strike up and I would assist tank, hit mob real quick with spell before it died for the faction.

Was this changed? I never remember having to do anything special for faction hits on my cleric.

Also, I specifically remember gating during Dain/Tormax fights at low % to avoid the faction hits.
