Hey all,

Is it worth it to build a warrior with all bonus points in Dex and to gear primarily for +Dex items?

With no expertise on this subject, I am going with my gut and saying NAY.

Gearing for dex 50+ definitely, while in Xp groups.

Statting for dex at creation? I'd say only as an ogre.

I'm a troll with 90 base dex, and I easily cap with Kunark gear... and Velious makes it even easier. Agility is the only stat that is hard to max as a warrior because most of our high end gear has a ton of str dex and sta

What about for leveling?

Not worth it IMO. I believe it it will increase the number of crits/crips so it may make it easier to zerk tank to 50 but all in all I wouldn't "build" a Dex warrior.

This is an Ideal thread as too not suck balls as a warrior from 10 to 50 - Roll Ogre Warrior +25 dex +5 agi, gear pure dex / str and negate any AC or HP as they are useless - equip your oggok cleaver + fbss with your dex / str set, and enjoy walking around in zerk smoking shit for 800+.

Always loved playing a dps war but no one invites a war to group as dps and won't want you tanking when they see a 2h and dex gear.

Ehhh ymmv. I was a poor shaman coming up so I often found a warrior to zerk. Made for some interesting duos and I can say that the wood elf warrior with higher Dex out damaged the barbarian warrior with less Dex and usually by a fair margin.

With that being said, it's not reliable 50+ as mobs hit considerably harder.

Also, oggok cleaver is for big numbers. Use staff of battle if you really want to DPS.

put it all in STA and 5 in dex imo. Obviously not what you do with an ogre or troll.. however you should only roll halfling. /nod
