Spells not finishing.
 

Been quadding in oot the past few days and every now and again I'll start casting a spell, the spell cast bar will go down, the spell won't go off, and I don't get any message.

at first I didn't think much of it but it happens more and more, i took a screen that doesn't show a lot but im gonna try and get more evidence.

Spell starts, get the skillup from cast but the spell didn't land, and no resist/interrupt messsage.

are the monsters standing in water maybe?

no, i am kiting over hills but there is no line of sight message which i usually get if they are over the hill.

I haven't paid close enough attention to see if it takes mana or not yet im gonna see tonight hopefully

Can confirm as well. Has happened multiple times and am fairly positive it costs mana. Might have something to do z axis? Are mobs dipping into a gully when the spell goes off?

I've been taking screenshots everytime I cast a spell to see if i can get a before and after.

If they are between hills I always get the cannot see target fail message, I only get the no message no cast when i should have had los or i believe i should have.

So after like 120 casts/screenshots I got it, not sure if this is enough evidence for anything but i tried.

You can see mobs are kind of behind that hill, but still cast.

here we see the mobs have come over the hill in full view, my castbar is gone so im finished casting and no interrupt/line of sight message in my chatbox where it should be.

This is what a line of sightmessage normally looks like for me.

This happens to me a few times a day when I'm quadding in FV. Mana is expended, and the spell gem goes grey as if the cast went off, but nothing happens.

Is more evidence needed? I could try to fraps it but that sounds awful ;p

I'm having the same problem... I just thought I was crazy for a while. Glad that it's a known issue. It doesn't seem to happen when I stay on level ground but when I start kiting the giants up over the hills, it happens all the time. >.<
