Geonids in WL
 

These were the bread and butter of farming armor gems, infact they were so good they were later nerfed.

Geonids in Wakening drop gems at a very rapid pace.

Only thing to be careful of, is don't let anyone who wants to do the Phenocryst focus quest hunt with you while you kill them, and try to get a lookout in case some invis person turns in their items for a focus, and you get treated to a train of 12+ geonids....

so whats the bug?

they not dropping gems on beta?

if so its prob bc the drop rates were altered later down timeline as your research/memory shows the drop rate was maybe too high

Have a source for the comment you cut/paste? Also what is the date of the comment? Is there a follow up post showing the nerf?

They where a typical slow weekend in vel to farm the ever loving crap out of these to feed the armor pharm during the week.
