ps4 ff14 reborn again and again
 

FFXIV: Realm Reborn recently got a port/revamp on ps4. It's been out for a while on ps3/pc, but the internet is abuzz with this new port for some reason. (graphics of ps4 I imagine)

There are some old threads on this game from last year but nothing current.

The fact that the game allows players with ps3/ps4/pc on a same server is appealing to be able to broaden who I know in RL who could play together despite different gaming environments.

I'm considering the ps4 version. Any thoughts on this game by p99 players?

I enjoyed it on PC....my main issue was the cross server shit made it so I made no friends getting to 50, so I ended up maxing out like 6 tradeskills...and then called it quits.

They have some interesting new stuff to kill time with here and there, but lack of friends/guild kills it.

Welcome to every new MMORPG... When will they make a game again that our name means something and reputation/grouping is everything? Oh yeah.... They Won't... :mad:

I predict the next big mmo will basically just be an amalgamation of WoW, Facebook, and twitter. The worse you are at the game, the more you will succeed.

You need 10,000 likes on your character to enter dungeon. Please proceed to the Market to be social or to in game purchase your likes.

Had a ton of fun w/ FFXIV for the four months I played it. Game came out, took some time off work to fully commit, beat all the content that was out at the time. Was fun.

One of the best MMOs in terms of content depth.

One of the worst MMOs in terms of community.

If you don't suck at modern MMOs, you will enjoy it.

2.5s gcd was fucking killing me on warrior/paladin. Had to play mostly pugilist because of it :P Game was really fun, finished my weapon (hard titan = zomg fun :P). Finished my DL gear as well but never got into the raid :(
