Looking for some old spdat.eff files
 

From Kunark-Velious era. Let me know if you have any/where I can dl em.

They exist. Plenty of people got new machines during that era and left their old HDs in storage. Pre kunark it wasn't that difficult to come by. I'd think mid velious should be easier by virtue of the fact that more people played then.

There is a chance the computer at my parents house still has velious era install, but the computer may have been reformatted after I quit EQ. Next time I visit them I will have to check for curiosity sake.

Should Telin get those files if you have them? Would they be of assistance to his efforts for classic spell graphic? Or are these the same files he is changing?

yes im sure they would be of interest to telen, and also to the guy who wrote the tool to read spdat files and compare the differences. He was only able to retrieve a select few un-patch spdat files.
