Rez Tells
 

For those who have hit lvl 49+, once you did so, did you start getting a lot of /tells for rezzes?

I'm currently at lvl 48 and am curious as to what I can expect.

Also, if you are in EC, do you get a lot more /tells compared to other zones?

you wont get too many once you hit 49, you will get a metric fukton when you get your epic. People will donate/pay for a non- epic rez 95% of the time, dont expect to get paid when you get your epic.

If I find myself in need of a Rez that guildmates can not provide, I will look for clerics in the zone nearby and in zones like EC/WC.

Having played my cleric 50-53 non-anon, I really don't receive that many to be honest. Probably 50-60% of them happen to be tells from people who see me in the zone they died in. I do get the rare "Oh you're in Kunark, can you run 30 minutes out to this Kunark zone to Rez my level 20 alt" though... Those just make me laugh. You want a Rez, exp in a zone that isn't a total pain in the dick to get to. Kunark zones are all pretty awful to get to easily.

I switch to /role or if i'm busy I respond with "Busy". Its curt but if I'm busy..I'm busy.

General rule for me would be:

Friends and Guildmates get rezzes for free but that doesn't mean you have to go from WC to the bowels of Seb to rez them. Reasonable travel when you're not busy.

People who drop their corpse at your feet get clickie rezzes for free or free will donation.

If they are strangers and you travel - they pay. If they are sending you a tell they're prepared to pay. Tell them the price before you start travelling, don't leave it up to them to "donate" or you'll be disappointed. I wouldn't leave my backyard to rez a stranger for under 200p.

Same for me. Pretty often I won't even get people sending me tells even if they were in my zone and I was unanon; they often only ask in /say after they see me walk by, or maybe in /ooc instead of contacting me directly.

You get a lot of tells at 60 in an established guild. If I run through EC on my way to another zone I am guaranteed to get tells unless i'm /role.

At 51 I don't get too many tells for rezes. It may depend on where you go and what time of day.

Example: When I was near CoM I would receive tells for a rez.

I try not to charge unless it's some place really crazy to get to in order to rez. I tend to role play when in groups to avoid spammed tells.

Now if people want to donate that's fine but I really don't plan on capitalizing on the spell.

This is way too true.

Before epic, I was getting like 200-500pp a day Exping in karnors and rezzing people who would drag their bodies to me. I would get a nice tip 4 out of 5 times. Now with epic, I don't even get a tip 4 out of 5 times.

As for tells. Yes you'll get a buttload of tells for rezzes, especially if in EC or just about anywhere. I usually just ignore them unless they tell me ahead of time exactly how much they would pay for me to go 10 zones over (Got 1k for a skyfire rez). I am /rol 95% of the time now so I rarely ever get a request.
