Corpse dragging
 

Died just before patch, came back, corpse wasn't following along when i /corpsed. however, i dragged it a ways as i would dragging a corpse along zone, and was able to not get a "too far away message" as long as I was dragging. When I stopped and moved a few feet away, I got the too far away, and then when after a few seconds moved back to where I had "dragged" it, I got the too far away message again.

So essentially, as long as I continued to drag, no "too far away" but no movement. Let's see what else. Uthgaard and I made me another corpse, tried, same results.

When I went to assist with the petition, I first asked for /consent to try the regular method of moving a corpse. There was no error message, but the corpse did not move. So I used /find to check the true loc of the corpse, as I tried the various methods of moving corpses available to staff.

Long story short:
The corpse entity is moving, but the graphic is not, and it's occuring with corpses created both before and after the restart.

I mean, we're talking about it in-game now, and it seems to be doing different things different times when you move it, it's aaaaall fucked up. But def. the corpse entity isn't moving when I /corpse, did that from five feet away, and /looted to see if it was just a graphic bug and got too far away.

Here is how I solved this problem and was able to loot my corpse:

Basically what is happening is you have a 'phantom' corpse, so to speak. You can drag it and do not get the 'too far away message', but the actual IMAGE of your corpse does not drag. It stays put. If you drag your phantom corpse away from the image of your corpse, you can not loot it. To solve the problem, use /cor to move your phantom corpse ON TOP of the image of your corpse (by standing on top of it) and then loot.

Relogging will also update all corpses to their correct locations.

I have an idea as to what may be causing this. Will look at it when I get home.

Same in kedge keep.
Everytime I die I can not see my body.
I have to zone out and back in to be able to see my corpse and loot it.
