steam summer sale is over, and it was sub 5 dollars for a while. hell i think the starting price is sub 10.

Dark Souls 1 and 2 have literally trumped everything else in my steam library. Even after the Steam sale, I hardly play anything else.

PVE in DKS2 is pretty Fucking awesome. PVP tho is love / hate for me. There's been some patches, and its def better now. BUT, if you stay at 150, yer basically crippling yourself because of soul memory. The Havelyns are gone, but you run into the same god Damn build every time. Shit gets old.

like every other game it sounds like. in one i've encountered different builds, but because i'm all about low weight and speed, i use the environment more.

So much fail on the pc version of dark souls 1. Is dark souls 2 optimized for pc? All the community patching and bug fixing kinda put me off on the series.

And the only reason why there was a PC version for DS1 is that the community requested it even though they knew it would just be a direct conversion and not perfect which was warned about before hand!

Apparently this thing has issues with windows8, most importantly inability to save the game. /cringe
Found some online helps to fix the issues, will try em tomorrows mayhap.

Game itself seems to be one giant troll, noidea wth anything does or how to do something, but running around with shield up constantly seems to be the surefire way to success. At least until some team of jackass archers were hiding behind the boss arena and introduced themselves the moment the minotaur showed up!
