dx9c required?
 

Rebuilding a pc atmo, and likely to install win7 on the hdd.

will I need to install dx9c to get p99 to work?

Think win7 comes with dx10....?


Havent done a clean os install for a while, have habit of moving old hdd around between computers. OR buy em from local comp shop with an os on them. *wink

Assume there is no advantage in going to dx11 or does it make a differnce thats noticeable in p99?

atmo this is the only version of EQ that I play. DOnt have time to also fiddle with other variations.

Pretty sure any Dx works thats higher than 9.

no you dont need to install anything outside of win8..

i know this because i just installed dx9 the other day in order to get something else to work, yet EQ has been running for weeks now

any differnce between dx 10 and dx 11 ?

DX11 has tessellation.

sounds painful.....can you get a cream to treat it?

assume that makes stuffz look smoother?
