These numbers do not match my numbers.

Are you lowering the your resistances with a debuff?

Because it will not display the correct resists if you have a debuff on.

Also, the client is not currently capped at 255 resists. But the server is.

For the mystery now, debuffs now do triple their debuff.

Do not use any debuffs in your testing.

It will remove 3 times the debuff. However, I don't have it displaying that correctly yet.

So instead of removing -39, it will remove -117.

Also, the server caps your resists at 255. So if you are above 255, so you really only have 255. That fix to change what the client displays has not been pushed out.

ah, no i wasn't using any debuffs in that test

i simply /dueled a character with an enchanter separately, casted tashanian, and his MR went from 166 to 127

the nuke tests were vanilla; 60 wizard casting on 60 monk with the resist noted in each test

after the first test they seemed very similar to the previous resist code you had implemented; maybe it's broken in duels and i have to go to an arena instead?

One of the rules for the beta server is different. Gotta change that setting, seeing if I can log into beta now, to change it in some zones.

So basically, my test pc, was set up different than beta. And code is not being used.

I set the rule to use the pvp resists, and it works for dueling.

The zones that will work, nro, iceclad, great divide, east wastes and thurgadin.

So do your testing in those zones.

The system for partials on pve resist code is absolutely messed up. That is the resist code that basically your tests were on. I will try to fix that later tonight.

ah, cool, i'll be testing it later when i get home from work then, assuming they're fixed now, or do you mean you'll be fixing it to be on your resist code later?

i was doing all my testing in greatdivide anyway

does this mean our first round of tests done weeks ago was actually on the pve resist code and not your pvp code?

oh jesus i lost count there are like 20 more full resists and like 2 or 3 full hits, lots of low partials

real goog resist system, shit feels CLASSIC

not sure about the 3x debuff modifier, right now simply casting tash would put most players in get-rooted-every-cast range

haven't gotten to test the AC changes yet
