Dial A Port too far

Me: hey man could I get an evac to EJ? I'm inside KC atm

Porter: that's a pain lol

(Porter is in DL)

Really? Fucks sake Dial. What kind of system are you running? Apparently if I'm not standing at Druid rings already sow'd it's just too much of an inconvenience.

You just assume hes bound there i guess?

TrendyDru 08-18-2014 05:29 AM

I assume since he's already in DL that KC isn't too far

90% of the time.

Druid runs to KC.
"Evacing to you now"
"Sorry man got a port already"

Or

"Ok I'm in EJ"
"One sec what's the loc again?"
10 minutes later
"Almost there"

Or when it's an EJ Pickup.

Its hard to justify blaming an entire guild for the actions of one member. I've used Dial a Port for months and have had that happen to me. People with a history of *****rdly tips usually get treated accordingly.

bilko138 08-18-2014 06:06 AM

Have *never* had that happen to me.

bclements87 08-18-2014 06:26 AM

So dial-a-port can't say no to a port?

Last time i check people have to right to choice when and were they want to port? If you have a problem with a druid saying no, then you better start walking! Or make a druid friend who don't mind camouflaging and levitating their-self ruining five minutes then using all their mana to evacuate you. FYI to all the people reading this 10pp isn't a tip for an this jobs it's a insult and the quickest way most people have made my ignore list. Have a nice day.

You can't run to him?

Baler 08-18-2014 08:43 AM

I've never had any issues with Dial a Port, I've made a few friends in that guild which has helped me immensely in the long run get around faster.

I always run to a druid ring before I try to contact a member. If they're in the same zone I run to them.
Fair prices and I have always gotten my port within a respectable amount of time.
