Pet Healing suppose to stop Poison?

Does pet heal that lists curing poison have like a ten percent chance or something? Done two levels with spiders and never seen it help with poison.

Not that I've ever heard. That's something I've only seen in WoW.

If you're a mage, you can use water pet for mobs that poison. Not as fast as fire, but immune to poison.

Poisons must have been a newer added effect on the heals. It used to only cure diseases, while poisons still ran their course. It was a good reason to change pets vs what you hunt: like he said before Water is flagged as immune to poison while fire would probably die horribly fast with a dot + mob dps on it.

That had to have been added later on. Note that curses weren't in the game until Luclin. It's possible that all of the cures were added to the spell at the same time, i.e., during the SoL expansion.

Disease cure was always a part of the pet cures. The only difference on them is how many counters each removed.

My mage friend's water pet got poisoned by a dune tarrantula in north ro which he had bought after I told them they were immune to poison... I was going to post it as a separate bug though. I figured I would mention it since everyone said they were immune. :)

Fire pets aren't immune to fire, and water pets aren't immune to poison. Their resistances are, however, so high that they should be effectively immune.

I posted this in the bugs forum over a month ago with no response.

Wondered about that too. Never had any luck removing poison either, as far as I could tell. Prolly was added.
