Why are my posts being moderated and when does it stop?

Once you've had 5 posts approved you will no longer need to worry about post moderation.

We switched to this system to prevent spam/trolls, which was becoming a serious problem.

Nice! Cool idea. At least now that guy has to work to make five legitimate-sounding posts before spamming transsexual porn.

Is it possible to make this a retrospective change? Any existing posters need to make five approved posts before they can post willy nilly?
