Newb question - Monk Stats
 

So what stats should monk favor in acquiring gear? At first I thought it was Agi and Dex, but from guides it seems to be Str and Stam?


Trying to figure out how to prioritize gear buying for Beef, my monk buddy, we have limited plats and I want to get the most out of it. We are usually three manning with my sham and my brother's wiz. So the monk ends up tanking.

For end-game... Resists -> HP -> STA -> STR

Mostly as a monk your goal is to not die pulling. The first three stats assist in that regard. After that, doing DPS is useful, so having STR high assists there.

At low levels, HP is really more important than everything else. And at those low levels raw HP gear almost always trumps STA gear.

I went with Sta and HP on my monk and it makes pulling so much easier. Just get sta/hp for every slot, you don't need to try to out dps the rogues. More HP = better mends too.
