Holding Items on Mouse Cursor

Not sure when this broke but it seems you can no longer hold more than 1 item at a time on your cursor.

That is def not classic, and as of like a month ago you could hold up to I think 7-8 items

Now they all poof soon as the cursor is full

This is why Eratani should not be doing xfers :P

I remember when this happened. My guess is it was part of Haynar's fix to some other bugs reported involving the cursor queue.

There were a few fixes to cursor queues. Some mine, some Rogean's.

There are some improvements coming.

However, bags should never be held on the cursor queue. There has never been anything in the code to support bag slots above the top slot.

If you zone with several bags in the cursor queue, or log out, or go LD, plan on doing a /petition to get them back, and it could take awhile. So don't use the cursor queue as additional inventory.

It was people macro foraging that started all the changes to cursor queues.

Anyone know what the classic 'cursor' limit was ?

I thought it was like 6-8 items you could have on there

I remember you could grief people in Luclin with the VT AE Summon Water/Food clicks. If you spammed those next to an AFK person you could get so many stacked on their cursor...

I dunno the limit during classic though.

There was no cursor queue in classic.

You would receive one item on your cursor if the inventory was full, the rest would fall to the ground.

Quoted for truth.
