Pet xp question
 

Been searching the forums and cant seem to find what I'm looking for. I have been told in game that you have to do more than 50% dmg to a mob or your pet will take 1/2 of the xp. Then I have also been told that as long as you do at least 1dmg to the mob then you still get 100% xp. Which of these statements is true?

You must do more damage than your pet in a solo situation to get full exp for the mob.

But as soon as you get another person grouped with you that limitation is gone.

Duo with people if you can. Pet classes go great with any other caster.

Thanks everyone. I knew I had read somewhere before that you need to do 50% more dmg than pet when solo, but then a few different pet classes I had ran into in game told me differently. Thought maybe something had changed. I am newish here and just wasn't 100% sure. Much appreciated.
