Password issues and inquriy about "multiboxing"
 

First let me say I apologize for any etiquette I may break since I have not posted in a forum in a year or two.

Second is the issue at hand. I recently started getting back into "Project 1999" and wanted to share the game with my brother who is moving back in and my girlfriend who currently lives with me. Well she made an account this evening and she tried to test out making a character and logging in but to no avail. It is not a "she forgot" issue as I literally sat and watched the entire process and yet she is refused time and time again?!

Is the issue simply time sensitive and we need to wait for the account info to update? Or is there something amiss?

Lastly I had read somewhere about "multiboxing" and playing with friends and family in the same house being something you needed to inquire about so... Again I apologize if this needs to be in a specific thread but I am essentially inquiring on behalf of my Brother and GF.

She also cannot log into the forums. Make a new account perhaps?

I learned about the petition/exploit forum as of last night. I had seen something on the issue once and then had a difficult time last night finding helpful info... EQEmu stated on their forums that the info I needed was in the FAQ on this website... Is it? Because I could not find it. I ended up finding out from a forum convo that mentioned contacting "Nilbog".

Not complaining but why Edit out her name here? If she makes a post on the forum everyone will see her name anyway? =3

If this post is truly pointless just let me know and I will delete it. I just tried to get it done quick since she works allot and has very little downtime.

Lmao I feel so stupid for not realizing it. I actually had her post the request since that seemed the "right" way to do it. If this post is in the way here feel free to remove it since the issue has been addressed and all. Cannot wait to adventure together. Just hope she does not wanna go WoodElf still lol. I Like the freaky races.

EQemu forums really have nothing to do with here. You need to goto the petition forum and read the sticky at top of page about how to acquire IP exemptions. That is how you and your GF and brother will be able to play. You need to give them the info they ask for and go from there.

Thx for all the help you guys. I just finished doing a "Exemption" notice for her and now we play the waiting game heh. Seriously though appreciate the help. I have been nervous while being metaphorically in the dark and the folks on here have been pretty quick to help out. I have watched allot of videos and livestreams and you can tell the folks get allot of flak from "ungrateful" users/players and I do not want to come off as "that guy" in a community that seems to have some tight knit bonds?!
